<p>The first step to clearer skin is to take a hard look at your <a href="http://makeupbeautyschool.com/skin-care/">skin care</a> routine (if you have one) you may be surprised to find that quite a few people have no particular skin care routine in place.&#160; It has been said plenty of times on this site but the truth is to achieve healthy skin you need to take care of the basics, if you do not then no amount of liquids and creams will fix the problem.</p>
<h3>Finding the Problem</h3>
<p>There are two steps involved, the first is to evaluate your skin condition, you need to be honest with yourself here, check that all the following apply:</p>

<li>You are drinking around eight glasses of water every day </li>

<p>If any of the above are missing then you need to realize that your problem skin may be caused by neglecting to follow any of the above rules for clear skin.</p>
<p>If however you can reasonably say that you are following the above guidelines, then your skin problem may be caused by another factor such as a hormone imbalance.&#160; If this is the case then it is quite possible that your skin may need a little extra help and you should consult someone qualified to recommend treatment.</p>

<p>Once you have determined the root of the problem there are quite a few home remedies you can use to improve your skin condition and the overall health of your skin.</p>
<p>The first and most often neglected step is making sure that your skin is adequately hydrated, this means drinking enough fluids, preferably&#160; water and moisturizing daily with the correct moisturizer for your skin type.</p>
<p>Secondly you can try increasing your intake of fresh fruit and vegetables, this can be easier to implement that you may think, try drinking a glass of pure fruit juice in the morning, eat a piece of fruit along with your regular lunch and try a new vegetable with your evening meal.&#160; Doing this will give you three extra portions daily which will be a great start.</p>
<p>Carry baby wipes with you in your bag every day and use them to freshen your face throughout the day, baby wipes are gentle enough to be used on most skin types and will help to keep your skin clean.</p>
<p>Avoid touching your skin too much, many people subconsciously touch or rub their face several times during the day, transferring dirt and germs to the skin without realizing it is happening.</p>
<p>Give yourself a face massage, with clean hands take the time once or twice a week to gently massage your face, not only will this help to exercise the muscles in the face but it will help to stimulate your skin giving it a healthier looking glow.</p>
<p>The above steps are easy to implement and take very little time, provided their is no serious skin condition, following the above guidelines can help you to achieve clear skin that looks and feels much better!</p>
